Same. I did have to come to grips/lasso in the performance of this game. This would be quite a bit better if it simply had better performance. I know everyone wanted the locked 30 fps lifted, but after trials and tribulations (don't know that tribulations mean) locking it at 30 made the stutter nearly invisible to me, which is probably what the dev's knew all along. If this could have been a glass like experience say like Fable on the PC, it would be really really fun. Not bad and two adventures for the price of less then one, yay!

I can't review a game I played only 10% perhaps 15% but I'd say from about 8/10 hours of play that it's a great game first parts.

The beginning village looks nice but is tedious to play. But the first zone right after this introduction is just hugely good.

Great exploration, many good quests, plenty nice little touch of humor, interesting dialogs, good story, many very good secrets and mildly hidden stuff, fairly good fights, plenty little choices, very good building of area reminding Gothic 2 with Night of the Raven.

In fact apart the sword fighting with is great in G2+NOTR, Divinity II Ego Draconis reminds me a lot G2+NOTR which is more or less my favorite RPG of all time. And D2EG have even some points that are better than G2+NOTR. For example the numerous good secrets, better dungeons, more humor (that don't break the mood and fit perfectly), better graphics not only because more detailled but mainly because of the style with a nice fantasy mood and plenty places looking totally great.

For me if I judge from only this first real area (after the introduction/tutorial village), it's a 9.5/10 on par with G2+NOTR. Not mroe not less but the feeling for the whole game could be different and that's not a comment about the expansion.

This. The atmosphere is spot on. It is very much a cliche fantasy environment but there is something very intoxicating about it. This was actually the first game of 2010 that sucked me in. I started playing on a Friday and ended up logging 20+ hours that weekend. This game has everything: excellent visuals, fun combat, the ability to be overly powerful with the proper strategy, tons of humor, insanely awesome armor, oh and you can turn into a dragon and blow ♥♥♥♥ up.
