Can't buy M14, Class won't save.

As the title says.

I unlocked the Scorpian, Enfield and the M14. As I don't use either of the first 2 I tried to buy the M14 yet it hangs for a second on the "Downloading game settings" and then
"Fetching Stats" and it doesn't save the class Or spend my CP.
BUT I can and have bought the Enfield and the Scorpian.

WTF. Why won't it let me?

I'm 1st prestige level 10. Its really pissing me off as its my gun of choice.

Anyone got a fix for "Fetching stats" and none saving Classes?

lol, i don't know. seems a lot of people are having this problem. makes me glad i didn't choose the prestige. i'm saving up a lot of cp before i make that leap, so at least i can be where i was before.

well,i have same problem for like 5 days now. I tried everything possible. No fix possible at the moment. Just pray that upcoming patch solves the problem. Also contact activision customer support and provide following information with your post. This is what they asked from me:

Hello and thank you for contacting Activision Technical Support,

What is your steam username online? Also, what is the current level of your account and how many custom classes have you created on your account? Do you use any anti-virus/firewall programs on your PC?

We are going to have to look at your direct X information in order to figure this problem out. Please do the following:

1) Click on the Start button > Run. (Windows Key + R brings up the box)
2) In the box type: dxdiag
3) Click the OK button.
4) DirectX Diagnostic Tool will open, click the Save All Information button at the bottom.
5) Save the dxdiag.txt file to your desktop. NOTE: Skip to step 9 if you are already logged in to your Activision account
6) Login to your account at http://activision.custhelp.com. (Select the Activision link under the welcome banner.)
7) Click My Stuff and then click Questions. (Login with your e-mail address, leave the password field blank.)
8) Find your current incident and click on it under the Subject column.
9) Click Update Question.
10) Under Attach Additional Documents to Question you will see a Browse button. Click that and browse your computer for the Dxdiag on your desktop. When you locate the file, double click on it.
11) Once the file appears as attached, you can now enter any additional information about your Incident in the Results and/or Additional Information field.
12) Click Submit Update to Question to send the Dxdiag

I'm having this problem with the Famas. Yes I know its the new UMP45 but I've grown so used to it that any other assault rifle feels weird and I play like crap.

This happened to me on my second prestige but it quickly fixed itself somehow. Now on my third prestige at level 14 I tried to buy the famas and each time it just reset it back to the gun that was already in that class.

I'm level 22 3rd Pres. and still cant get the Famas. Really..reaaaaaaaaally annoying.

It costs 50,000 COD Points to prestige, but once you prestige all your CoD points get reset.

So if you have 100,000,000,000 CoD points and you prestige, once you're back to level 1 you will have 0. So don't bother saving anything.

I have the same problem. What i find is i have to play a game, exit halfway through the game THAN i cam customise my class and it actually saves even though it does the whole fetching stats crap

try it out and let me know if it works

Ive done this about 30 times and no dice.

I didn't even do this as a fix I just did it out of frustration.

I can change the tactical/lethal grenades on 4/5 of my classes.
I can buy all guns except the m14 (the one I actually want).
But most class changes don't save. And no change saves if it includes an attachment change.

This is a total joke.

Yup.

I tried playing the game with other weapons, even the AK47u which is one of my favs to play with, but I just play like garbage now because I'm frustrated with the damn Famas bug.

Anyone hear anything about this fix being in the patch or even when the patch will hit?

Had this problem a bit ago. Prestiged and couldn't buy the enfield after I unlocked it. Go level up and try again. That fixed it for me.

You mean prestige again and see if it works?

I could do that, rather, I'm GOING TO HAVE to do that.

But hopefully it either fixes itself, patches or what you mentioned fixes it.

I've leveled up twice since then and unlocked new guns (which I can buy) but the M14 is still broken.

I just hit 22 and I'm having this issue with the ak74u.

EDIT: Once I leveled up a few times it fixed it.

Yes, Leveling up fixed this issue.

Its daft but its true. If you prestige you run the risk of class/loadout issues but they fix themselves in the end.

Exit and restart the game over and over again till it syncs properly.
All these other crazy fixes are just crazy, do that a few times and you should be right.

You do know that you lose all cp when you prestige ? :P

Just found solution to this and all the other "Class won't save" and "Can't purchase weapon" problems. Basically if in a previous prestige you unlocked lots of lenses, clan tag and emblems features for a weapon, that same weapon will cost you the price for the weapon itself plus the price for all the things you unlocked previously. If you don't have enough money to buy this problem will happen, you buy the wepaon for 2000, go back and class resets to what it as before. I didn't believe this until I finally managed to buy my AK-47 for 20000 Cod points. Yeah 2000 CoD points. :(
Just try to make 10000 or 20000 points before buying a weapon and see if you can buy it then. Trust me, you will and all the points will be gone.
