View Full Version : Raising Hell problem - menus

The menus in-game don't seem to be working. The main menu works, but the inventory menu in the forge doesn't. I'm able to open the inventory, but when I try to move to the helmet menu from the armour menu, it doesn't do anything. Likewise in the dungeon, when moving down to select a different opponent.
I've verified the game cache of both Overlord and Raising hell (74 files failed to validate) but even after that, the menus wouldn't work. This includes the yes and no options when trying to quit.
Any solutions?

Are you using a controller, or the keyboard controls?

Sorry - keyboard controls. I use the down arrow on the dungeon menu, it doesn't work, and the left/right arrows on the inventory menu.

I just tested it out, works fine for me, sorry. I'd suggest getting a USB 360 controller and trying that out. Ports of console games are much less painful in general if you play them with a controller.

Must agree rast. Super fun game and all but is a console port and they tend to not do a great job of workin the controls out for keyboard and mouse. Never really had more then really minor issues with using the keyboard/mouse with these ports but it just goes a lot smoother it seems with the controller. I'd recommend getting a USB wireless receiver if you own an Xbox already as you can use all your wireless controllers you already own and headsets be they wireless or the ones that plug into the controller
