Every Upload now makes my PC crash.

Basically, precisely 10 seconds after I start uploading a file, any kind of file, my PC crash. It's a CPU loop kind of crash, nothing that pops up a error message and I can keep doing what I was doing. I am forced to manually reset the computer after this happens.

I have looked on google and no search results were relevant.

It's been happening since around the time I've installed Black ops. I can't blame the game, but perhaps it has installed something along the way that f*cked it up big time.

I have tried several times, I always get the same results..

Windows 7 64BIT
Q6600
AVG antivirus 2011

Might i suggest you download Ccleaner (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner) and clean out all useless internet data, and while your at it, do the registry as well.

Re-installing Win 7 did the trick. I'm really unsure of what the problem was, but do you think an AV software can play a part in that?

Yes esp AVG free if thats what you where using, Try MSE (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/) it free and from Microsoft..
