Cod4 - where is my key?

So after BO came out, then i decided to go back to CoD4.
I can't find my key anywhere?
I do know that i should write my key ingame, but its notwhere to be found?

How to find Product Key for CoD4:

- Press Win+R
- Type regedit
- Navigate to HKEY_Local_Machine
- Go to Software
- Go to Wow6432Node
- Navigate to Activision
- Click on Call of Duty 4
- The key should show up under the entry "codkey"

Tried to look for my CD key in regedit but there was no Call of Duty 4 folder under Activision (which was not located under Wow6432Node). When I looked at Wow6432Node, there was only the Microsoft folder.

Edit: Solved by running steam as admin and verifying the files.

Go to Options-> Multiplayer options-> key code. It should show up there, at least mine does.
