Finally a working way to fix the GPU hitching , shattering!

this way is tested on 3 computers and all of them have the 9800 GT nvidia Graphic Card and one PC have dual cores CPU and the others have Quad cores ones and they are all Intel based, here what we did:

1. Downlowad
2. install
3. run the program
4. go to game drivers in game booster
5. scan or rescan
6. download every single driver that is showing
7. restart
8. Enjoy Hitching Shattering Free!

please if this work for u post your specs in this thread only for the GPU and the CPU.

/i used game booster cuz it help me update my drivers to the latest, try it u wont regret it

[FIX] Call of Duty: Black Ops - Game Freeze / Stutter / LAG FIX!
------------------------------------------------------

1. Enable CPU Multi-Threading, and Disable Dual GPU
steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\players
(config_mp.cfg, and config.cfg)
Edit:
seta r_multithreaded_device “1" (Multicore CPU)
seta r_multithreaded_device “0" (Singlecore CPU)

seta r_multiGpu "1" (SLI-Mode)
seta r_multiGpu "0" (Single GPU)


2. Open Console (`)
Type cl_maxpackets 100
Close Game.

3. Right click on Black Ops MultiPlayer in steam games.
Go Properties -> Updates -> Uncheck
"Enable steam cloud sync."

4. Steam -> Settings -> In Game -> Uncheck
“Enable Steam Community In-Game”

No.. It disables unnecessary services. It's actually a useful little tool. It saves you from having to manually do it.. It doesn't really help me with my stuttering (I already have most useless services turned off)

It's just Gamebooster, totally safe. All it does is that it turns off all programs that ain't needed and that may reduce performance. So should be totally safe to use.

man am just posting what i experienced with my friends so take it or leave it but am telling u it worked for 3 computers

Has anybody tried AMD fusion? I remember that utility helped me a bit with Microsoft Flight Simulator that was ALSO extremely CPU heavy, didn't exploit multi cores efficiently and barely used GPU. Perhaps you guys could give it a try (unless you are an Intel user).

u damn ignorant the game booster will scan for updates thats why i used it and it worked.

gamebooster is not going to get you vac banned. all it does is optimize your pc's power management and close unnecessary processes when you put it in game mode. it in no way does anything to any game files. anybody who says they got banned for using it is lying to cover up the fact that they also had hacks running.

Actually, I use gamebooster though, it is nice being able to end, and then restart all unnecessary processes with one button. Not that it's going to magical someone's system into a beast rig from a pentium pro 200mhz, but it does help in some applications/games.

For the sake of factual information, you cannot get vac banned for running something that disables windows services.

I know this is an old post but i really felt like sharing,...
LOL since i actually did it. First time LOLing (my neighbors actually knocked on my door).
But dude, I don't get it does it lift my game up higher, like a rocket booster?

Please..... for the love of God... tell me that no animals or hot blonds were injured during testing (enhancements ok).

However, I would like to find a solution to the unfair hit detection. Quad core, decent connection, tweaks, etc.. please inspire, ... you know the story.

VAC Ban? I've been using GB since Mw2 without any problems...usualy clears up about 180-200MB of RAM. Also lets you defrag your games too (a lot better than Steam does).

Game booster doesnt do much in the way of helping the game work . All it really does is closes other processes and free 128-512 of ram in your system . In turn if you actually check the task manager you will see in some cases that is uses more ram to run itself than it actually frees up .

In my case when i tried it , i had more glitching , lagging and fps drops than i had without it . Decided to go to my task manager and kill any processes and programs that had nothing to do with running windows . that increased my fps and glitching and lag .

I wouldnt call game booster a fix for the problems . Its definitely worth a try for some ,but its more like giving someone a painkiller for a headache when they need surgery to remove a tumor .

I stopped using this after it give me a BSOD when playing blops, and i didnt see any diffrence when it was working.

This may help people with low end cards but imo the hitching is CPU related, i mean if these people with high end cards are getting stutter/hitching/lag then this must say the problem is elsewhere.
