View Full Version : So this is how it is with Steam? No Updates?

1.3 Update - Not Installed by Steam
1.4 Update - Not Installed by Steam
2.0 Update - Not Installed by Steam

Can't update it myself (Says FS2011 is not installed)

Time to start looking for FS2011 for digital download not tied to steam and take the loss like I should have in the first place.

Because Steam I have been with your outfit for 2 weeks and I'm NOT impressed (basically I think it sucks)...

It's not Steam (Valve's) fault, it's the developers, for not uploading the patches.

Well, considering I downloaded the 2.0 Patch (can't use it) I don't see what problem Steam would have doing it...

True its BS with the 2.0 update, but we do have the 1.4 update. Even though it doesnt say so in the game version.

as stated above we do have 1.4 update. Just waiting on 2.0.

Just checked and it's official, Steam has had the patch since last night per this thread (http://forum.landwirtschafts-simulator.de/viewtopic.php?f=483&t=26237&start=30), so now we are in fact waiting on Steam lol.

But how is it Valve's responsibility to find and upload every patch for every one of their games? That's the developers problem, not Valve's, so talk to the developers of this game.

Steam releases updates one after the other.
If they released them all straight away nobody would be able to download games or get their own updates.
This happens for every game.
Every game platform has to do this.

But thats because their playerbase is made of over 3 million constant players every day.
More than any other platform.
