I can’t buy anything!

Hi,

I can’t buy anything! I am now playing at rank 28 with 71000$ of credit.
For example, if I buy the AUG weapon, as soon I left the "Create a Class" menu, my older weapon come back and my credit come back as before I buy. It does the same thing with all buyable stuff.
I am running Black Ops on Windows7 professional 64bit.

Yeah its a common problem, did you prestige?

The only thing we've gathered can fix it...Playing the game and waiting it out. I couldn't buy the M14 or change any attachment on my guns, others have had alot of trouble buying the Famas 2nd time around.

No. For me it CAUSED them.

It was only after I prestiged that I couldn't buy certain guns. leveling to lvl18 or so first prestige fixed it.

I'm about to prestige again so lets see if its broke the 2nd time around...

Still broken. I'm lvl 44 second prestige & get that problem buying the commando. Also had the same problem buying the FAL, but after leveling up more I could eventually buy it.

I thought the same problem I had was caused from buying reticles and such in the previous prestige. Now I am not too sure. I just bought the commando on 2nd prestige, and it cost what it says it cost, even though I had bought all the attachments/reticles/crosshairs/camo for it pre-prestige. Also at about level 41, after a match the report told me I had unlocked all the weapons I had already unlocked, one after another. Didn't even get through them all before I changed maps. Wierd.

because the money that you see are not real, happens to me too sometimes, join another game, earn some money, spend it, ure money should be now showed correctly

It's a bug with the amount the game thinks you have to spend. For me, my purchase screens are 500 off. E.g. if I it shows 2100 and I try to buy a gun worth 2000 when I leave the class screen the game "fetches" data and un-does my purchases, I have to have more than 2500 to make a 2000 purchase. If I have enough money and made purchases then when I leave the class screen my money count drops by 500 (that I didn't purchase).

For me its only 500 off.

When are they going to fix this? I've levelled up 3 times and still can't buy the all the weapons. Anyone else having this issue? Who can I direct this problem to? I've also had the game take money from me as well.

I'd report it to the Better Business Bureau ;)

Or maybe to Steam or Activision tech support
