When I saw this beta And I saw the word free and single player.....I jumped at the chance to look into it....free game...you know, what are the chances of free game? low and behold! lie lie lie!!! no single player mode!!! no manual!!! once again lies and a cheap pull-in to get us single players who like single player games to down-load this game silly game for no reason...shame shame steam.....be nice if you cross out the words single player in the "Store area" so us single players aren't dragged into this again......THANKS :mad:

There is a single player mode. You just didn't look hard enough. :]

Click Multiplayer -> click Internet -> "do stuffs required to log in" -> create a skirmish game -> press Ready -> press Start Game.

Sorry....But when I had enter this "skirmish Mode" you spoke of.....it was not available to use......and I am not about to buy something that I don't want, thanks....Can't try it won't buy it

1. It's not a free game, it's an Open Beta.

2. The Beta is for multiplayer gameplay to test the servers and the balance issues.

3. You need to grow a pair of eyes.

Who cares about single player? Unless you're playing Fallout 3, you should only care about multiplayer. Fact!

Curious...where did you see "free single player" advertised with this beta? Although it does exist through a server of one, anyone familiar with this game understood that the open beta was going to be about the multiplayer.

Besides...how many games hold an open beta for the single player bit?
