9/10 times I attempt to join a black ops server, it causes my internet to disconnect.

Now before you are going to say "Blah blah its your net" , "Its your comp" , router or anything like that...Only black ops servers do this.

repeat... ONLY BLACK OPS.

a few things, My net is stable ALWAYS, its fast and up to date. Dont blame my PC, all drivers are up to date and ofc it meets the minimum recommendations.

And its not ALL servers, its MOST servers, there are a few that never have any problems with, but they are all TDM servers...too bad i would like to get pro perks...

And its not just my PC...again, not my pc.
Everyone on my network loses internet connection.

And once again...I HAVE STABLE FAST INTERNET.

Its clearly Black ops multiplayer.
Single player, i have had no problems thus far with it, just the multiplayer side of things.

Now, what the hell is up with the black ops servers that it can cause such a flood of my isp that my net is dc'ed?

Not a half bad game...But so far it seems that the coding is barbaric and worthy of a windows 95 sticker.

I get this same problem. As soon as I load the server list, my whole home network goes down. This does not happen with any of the other FPS games on my computer, including Modern Warfare 2.

Also, it's only been doing this since the recent game update.

Can someone explain why? Until this is solved, I'm just going to have to play MW2. (Doesn't bother me that much, I'm better at MW2.)

i also get this prolem, its verry annoying to run blackops and reload the serverlist once and then not be able to do it again!
and another thing, when you try to join a game do you sometimes have to click on something else first for it to respond because i have to.

Your internet is disconnecting because your modem/routers cant handle the amount of ip's being sent at once (this is a known issue with black ops)

In you modem/router you may have a setting to allow ip flooding.

if not some people have had some luck by updating the firmware on the modem/routers.
