Hi there,

Downloaded GSB with steam including the 4 add-on packs and it prompted me that there was an update available, updater worked and i had 1.48 however i ran into the offset cursor bug which i saw on these forums was fixed by uninstalling from steam and re-downloading.

After re-downloading i am now stuck with version 1.46, each day it says there is an update available when i start the game but if i click "yes" to download it, nothing happens.

Slightly frustrating since i cant access the nomad dlc with this version!

Any ideas? I thought maybe the patch installer had already downloaded somewhere and thats why it sat doing nothing but damned if i can find it!

Any ideas?

Using Snow Leopard 10.6.5 on a Macbook Pro for reference.

I don't think the Mac version has been updated yet, so when GSB checks for the update, it's not there. It will update through Steam when it is available I'm assuming. Mac versions usually lag behind PC versions by a month or so.

Observo, it did originally update to v1.48 but the cursor was glitchy so i uninstalled and redownloaded, now it wont update, surely if there was no update it would not tell me there was no update available.

@Seven -- Send us an email at support ..at.. redmarblegames ..dot.. com so we know how to reach you directly and we'll get it in shape for you -- at the very least you should certainly be able to install the Nomads DLC, so we can help with that. We can also provide some more background on the updating issue.
