TOV's Steam store DLC page (http://store.steampowered.com/dlc/18050) is showing no available content. Is this already included in the standard steam install (and I'm not seeing it?) or is this going to be released later?

I think I read somewhere that both DLCs are already included, but no idea where that was.

EDIT: Here is a link that confirms it

that link confirms what?

steam keeps telling me there is no DLC available nor do i have DLCs for DS:ToV installed...

if it's included already then not as "DLC"...

Are you being wilfully obtuse here?

It's common practice when a game is ported to another platform after X amount of time, to include all previous DLC's as part of the standard package, as if to "make up" for the time between conversion.

Plus, it's not that big a deal. The only games that had truly GREAT DLC were Fallout 3 (in most cases), Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption.

I'm with flava_clown... what is that link meant to prove? All it says is what we know: we're getting 2 pieces of DLC. It's completely ambiguous as to whether the DLC is built into the PC release or a free DLC. If it's free DLC, we don't have it yet.

first i was about to say you missed borderlands, but then i thought that i don't know your defenition of "GREAT"... so you maybe left that out of purpose.

the people here in the thread were talking like we have to download something seperatly or at least it will be listed as something extra... it's maybe just my bad english and the way i tend to understand things...

so what you say is, that the socalled DLC is part of the game already and should not be called DLC for obvious reasons?

anyway.. i agree it's not a big deal...

Yep, Borderlands too.

It used to be DLC for XBOX360 so it's the free DLC bundle for us. It's a couple of extra dungeons anyway, no major quests/equipment or anything.

but will it be listed as DLC or is this already part of the game and none of us who never played a console version will actualy realize that we are now playing what was a DLC in other versions?

It would be listed as DLC and if installed, the game will say DLC found at startup of a new game.

Checking into it in case there is a Steam setup problem.

There was a Steam side setup issue. It is being worked on. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

You will have to restart your Steam client and when you go to launch TOV, it will download and install the DLC automatically.

The in game DLC tab will still show no DLC available as that is the 'store' and there is no DLC to buy at this time . . . just free stuff!

Should I start a new game to get access to DLC content?

NO, it shouldn't matter. i just continued my save game and found a note laying on the ground. when you "read" it, you'll get the information how to access the DLC. it's a cave somewhere in the snow mountians if i remember right.

btw... do you know what the C in DLC stands for? ;)

DownLoadable Content

And still it is semantically right, because he asks if he gets access to the content of the downloadable content.
