Doom 3 wont load

I installed doom 3 not to long ago and it worked good for about 2 days , i uninstalled it and installed it again and it wont load at all. There is no error message or anything . I click on it and it looks like its gonna load then it just stops. Anybody have any ideas on how to get it going? Thank you.

Except i'm using demo. I really would love to buy whole game but demo doesn't load so I'm not buying game until it demo loads properly.:confused:

I tried it this morning and it worked fine it loaded and i played for an hr before i had to leave. I got bk home and again it wouldnt load. Does anybody have a cure for this?

Sorsis, let me guess, Windows Vista or Windows 7, right? This game originally didn't work in these operating systems but was patched to do so. The demo, however, was not. So don't be scared thinking it's a reflection of the game. Sadly, this won't actually let you try the game before you buy it, but you can look up videos, try a Windows XP PC/partition, etc. I've beaten it on Windows XP and Windows 7. Fantastic game.

caveman7698, did you try verifying the game cache files integrity? Strange that it worked fine one day and not the next, but there's a few things you can try regardless (verifying game cache file, uninstalling and reinstalling again, video drivers, checking any temperatures/overclocks, making sure anything the game might create in your user documents folder is deleted [back up the save games though, just remove it as a test]).
