I went to check the stats page and it not even on the list and i know this game require steam.
So does anyone play. I use to love the Ship hl1 mod.. never bought the source version and just found out about this one
(I know the source version is dead and over priced too)
I want to start playing this game type again and invite all my friends if it still alive
they should bundle the two games together

Well, The Ship is near-dead so I guess they figure no point in trying to sell it anymore. This game is awesome. Very relaxing, yet chaotic

unfortunately it seems to go the same way as "the ship".
while the ship is breathing it's last... i fear bgt is slowly dying, too, according to player numbers.
outerlight killed the ship by messing up the needs system. and bgt won't be patched as it seems, which will be the death of the game, too.
pity for both games. requiescat in pace.

Last time I checked, it wasn't even on the Steam top played games list. http://store.steampowered.com/stats/
That means there are less than 147 Steam players right now.

I played this game for a solid few weeks and the player count was fine. You could always get a game. I've had a break for a few weeks and I'm worried the population won't be the same.
The thing is, as soon as you get a game going people will join. Make sure you get some friends in on the act and you won't regret it. Then you can all jump in a server and people will follow. It's just one of those games. But the population has been fine so far. Don't let it put you off if you have friends

The ship was better, this game is cheap and funny but u are lucky if u find 10 players on a server...
I hope they give a free weekend for xmas or so...
For me this game is dead, but hey!, for 5 itīs ok.

IMHO the introduction of the "live compass" was even worse.
But I doubt these decisions "killed" The Ship.
There just aren't enough people who are into this kind of shooters with innovative game modes like Ship or BGT ("I can't shoot everyone on sight? That sucks!")

I play occasionally, though more often than not I play alone against the bots. That sounds lame, of course, but the point is to have fun, and bots are amusing and won't rage, so meh. The few times I've done multiplayer, there was a lot of unfun "killed for no reason" going on because everyone was trigger-happy and seemed confused about who they were supposed to be killing.

unfortunately, he speaks the truth... it's even worse than the ship.

and you're right about this one (compass), too!
but imho the needs settings killed it. where's the fun? can't kill anybody whlie sleeping, showering etc. THAT was hilarious!

what killed the ship where all the bugs that started poping up , as soon as they fixed one four more would appear.I bet everyone can rember people floating alnog like they where sleeping or using the john only to kill you.
This game is ina big time low. I am just like everyone else its good for about a hour of laughs a night but gets boring quickly enough.
More maps are needed or something.
