Does Steam carry "AO" rated games (Adult Only)? I have not seen any AO rated games for sale on Steam, but they carry so many titles I am assuming they have some nice adult games somewhere. Are they hidden somewhere in the store? Or do you have to enter a special code or something to see the AO games?

I'm curious, please give some examples of AO rated games. Do you mean like Leisure Suit Larry? :p

I don't think they have anything really "blue".

Sorry, I think you'd need to look elsewhere. I don't think Steam carries any AO games.

Games rate "Adult Only" by ESRB, they contain adult themes and interactions.

What's the difference between AO and M?

The Jrpg market would no doubt explode if they added an adult section xD (Edit: And so would their recipients I assume ..)

MATURE
Titles rated M (Mature) have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.

ADULTS ONLY
Titles rated AO (Adults Only) have content that should only be played by persons 18 years and older. Titles in this category may include prolonged scenes of intense violence and/or graphic sexual content and nudity.

Personally, I hate this rating system.

AO is equal to the XXX category?

I LOLed at the difference in definition. 1 year (17 vs 18 yr old) makes all the difference eh?

Obliviously.

I want to know a specific example of such a game.

"Crystal Fantasy" "Cyber Photographer" "Wet: The Sexy Empire" "Manhunt 2". I'm sure there are more but I can't think of any right now.

Indigo Prophecy Uncut

I seriously thought that it was listed as M and not AO.

Then again, I'm still confused... Not that ratings means anything to me.

The Uncut version is AO ,the other version is M.

Thanks for clearing that up. Again, not that it makes any difference.

As mentioned already, there are no "adult" games sold through Steam.
