No Sound

It Apparently the game runs but i have no damn sound
anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, same problem here. Crashed the first time I tried running and now - although it runs fine - there's no sound whatsoever.

Try re-installing the sound dependency file for this game manually.

It's located here:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\bit.trip beat\dep\oalinst.exe

same problem.. still no sound even with that oalinst.exe who say all fine - installed.

I have this same problem too, is there an official forum to go to? If there is I can't find it. We need to get our voices heard.

I had the same problem with open AL when installing Visual Studio 2010 - seems it doesn't like a select few machines..:confused:

i am an ATI user so i used this link which i found from this thread here http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1620763

it crashed the game and i removed it after
it "Magically" made the sound work

if you want to try it the same way, lets hope it works for you to.

Definitely because you have nVidia, this is for ATI.
