It is the main concern for me before I wish to purchase any multiplayer-enabled game for multiplayer is what made me tick. There is no point playing against AI when unfathomable humans are more fun against. For those who purchase and are reading please just post in this thread so that we can all know how many people are roughly active in the multiplayer domain? thanks a lot.

You can view multiplayer match history here:

http://clonesgame.com/clonestats/multiplayer/match_history

and the current list of active servers here:
http://clonesgame.com/clonestats/multiplayer/ranking

Usually there are multiplayer games going on all the time, and with the increasing fan base, the number of concurrent active servers will just increase over time (especially since no other game provides the same type of multiplayer gaming experience).

Our stats show that most people who buy the game are actually busy playing the singleplayer (over 10000 puzzle attempts per day). Eventually these players will be drawn into the multiplayer at some point.

It seems newbies don't host a server until they've played the game a while, probably because they are unsure how or do not want to deal with the options.
However if you start a server someone should join within 5 mins, people are always checking for a server to join. Once you are in a server it's likely that you can keep playing for a few hours.
