Cannot play EXE_CANNOT_FIND_ZONE

I just bought the game (DVD version), I paid 60€ :o

Installed it (with Steam? Why can't do a normal installation O_o ), updated it, selected language "italian" and the result is this:

EXE_CANNOT_FIND_ZONE

Also tried to reboot my pc, nothing happened.

All the times I have these problems is with games that work under Steam :mad:

Why I have the DVD version and I am obliged to access Steam to play the game?

I begin to hate Steam.

Anyway I can't play the game, any solutions?

Think I will go back to the store and try to make me give back the money or to change it with another game (without Steam).

try to change the language in steam, where your download locations are. before u install the game.

Go to \Steam\Steamapps\Common\Call of Duty Black Ops\zone and make sure there is only a "Common" folder and the folder of the language you desire.

I have launched the files verification, it found 39 files not verified.
Now it is re-downloading them.
I think it is donwlading the italian files because now the folder \zone\english is empty and there is a folder \italian with many files.

However I think this is a malfunction of Steam, because surely I have the italian files in my DVD, but during the installation I have not had the opportunity to choose anything. Steam decided by itself to install it in english language :mad:

back click on cod black ops in steam then go properties, then local files, click on the 3rd buttom down saying verify integrity of game cache then wait for couple mins for your game files 2 be verified :D
