Getting blinking/flashing screen... running a 5770.

I'm running Catalyst 10.8 on a 5770 and the fixes I'm seeing posted here seem to be for 10.9 users running 4800 series. Is there a known fix for 5000 series?

Update your drivers. I had a 5400 and that fixed it. It took many times to get the driver installer to work. ATI cards are junk IMHO.
