The game just disappeared from my game list. What is going on?

Did you have it on your favourites? If so, check the other games list.

it was on both my Libary list and game list under community and now it is only in my community game list

restart steam and cycle through the view options...

running into the same issue. Restart didnt fix it, nor can i find it in the seperate views. <.<

ok... i use "details" as view option and what i meant was to change there to "show all games" where the game should appear.
however this is the default view for me so after the restart i had to change to "installed", then "recently played" and then back to "all games" where it then appeared.

i am downloading it right now (97mb only :( ) and before i had the same issue like everyone else...

I just quit steam and waited a while, then reconnected and it appeared. :)
