Does anyone else besides myself see the similarities between the two games here? Was this title in any way inspired by Chu Chu Rocket or is this just a coincidence? Just pretend the "mice" are "cubes" and you'll see what I mean:

The only main differences I see include the addition of the third dimension whereas Chu Chu Rocket played on a 2D board and there are no "cats" or other equivalent cube eating nemesis about.

Either way, I'm buying this one. I really enjoyed Chu Chu Rocket on the Dreamcast but sadly, there was never a PC version released.

It started out as a concept for controlling streams of cubes, a bit like a traffic manager. It evolved and became a bit more similar to Chu Chu Rocket over time.

It's however much different when you play it. Of course the third dimension makes a huge difference, but we've also got conveyor belts, split signs, warp points and more.

I understand. Thanks for the insight and I look forward to trying it once it's up for sale. Like I said, I really enjoyed Chu Chu Rocket so it's great to have something that resembles it (even somewhat) on the PC platform.

Yes, I'm aware of that but I don't own either device. I was hoping for a PC version but I guess this game comes close enough.

A chu chu clone on Steam would be awesome. In best case as local and internet versus/co-op (up to 4 with xbox controllers enabled).

So is this game only about puzzles or does it have the duel mode of Chu chu rocket?

Chu Chu rocket is more of a frantic multiplayer arcade game.

Rush is a relaxing (and sometimes complex) puzzle game.

But you don't have CATS! They are very important and you miss them... WHY? ;)

Giant chickens chasing cubes of corn. Sounds good.
