Thinking of grabbing these games, waiting for a sale in x -mas :P, but I have a few questions.
1. Length: 1 hour? 2 hours? 20 hours :D?
2. Replay value: Is there anything to keep you coming back to your old save games? like the infinit dungeon in torchlight or more epic loot or increasing difficulty as in titan quest?
3. Loot, the most important thing in a hack n slash adventure, imo, is it varied? or just a few sets and weapons?
4. sidequests, after the main quest, how many side quests are there and are they fun to do (even fetch me x of this can be fun if excecuted properly :P)

1. If you just do the main quest, 8 hours maybe. If you do all side quests, 20ish.
2. None.
3. Yes it is, no sets though. Just the plain old "Sword of the murderous child" etc.
4. Read number 1.

1. no idea, haven't finished it yet (you should start with DS rather than with DS:ToV) in DS i had some 8 hours to finish it... i think
2. to be perfecly honest there is no real replay value... i hope they will add a second playthrough. (i finished DS twice but only because of a problem with 2 achievements... however, i've played the first time not really how it was meant to play, so the second time was a kinda different experience and still fun)
3. the loot is great but there are only a few sets and weapons, however if you play the game in the way the devs meant it to be played then you should always have the right gear at the right time...
4. well... there are many sidequests and they are fun to do, but you do the sidequest mainly while you advance storywise anyway... when i finished DS i had all sidequests done already. or better said, i've finished all sidequest before i went for the endquest.
it's short, simple, good looking, less RPG, it's quite an adventure with a few easy puzzle... the best part is the humor and the game mechanic. it's a fun game which i would recommend to everyone. though it's quite short and after you finished it, you defenitly will want to have more of DS!
in a personal kinda unfriendly but not meant to be this way note... don't be such a cheapa$$ and get it right now! :p
