Are the achievement bugs of TOV fixed in the PC version?

Not going to play it until there is a patch anyway. Don't want to delve into it and lose the game at a high progress then (currently I did only the start so that would be okay to replay).

For other users:
The bugs were:
Konichiwa - Permanently missable under some conditions (not sure if that is a bug since I lack details of it)
Primp V.I.P. - Unable to see one outfit after opening a certain chest or the like (bug)

If you open the chest she will try to kill you. Simply watch the outfits before you open it. Takes maybe 15 minutes to watch all of them. If you "accidentally" open it, just die. Your Thong of Justice will resurrect you at the nearest Outhouse.

Explaining how to succeed *after* the fact is useless and unbelievably lame. There are a lot of cases like this in the game, i.e., where there's no indication as to what the consequence of an action will be (generally resulting in almost instant death, which is very annoying but overall harmless), but this missable achievement is by far the absolute worst case I've ever seen in any game. I was incredibly peeved about it and had no way to recover my progress without losing several hours of play (the last time I backed up the save). This sort of thing *needs* to be avoided.

mate, you take this all too serious. this achievement is meant to be funny. it's more a "secret" achievement. something like this is in many other games as well. there is not much that you really have to achieve in DS:ToV unlike in other games where is more skill required to unlock an achievement.

about the first part of your post... i have really no idea what you are talking about there. i can't remember any situation where my action resulted in an instant death. well the one big robot is quite nasty and can only be killed with some special device. but even that wasn't an instant death. sure there was no real warning about it in the first place... but this is nothing to seriously complain about. it's part of the game. in other games you'll face worst situations. DS:ToV is IMHO pretty straight forward and selfexplaining.

if you complain about the ghost commander... well it's meant to be that way... you should read the notes from "dead adventurer" which you can find overall. they will tell you such things. the game got also a good help/hint system which really tells you what to do. (as long as you have enough fortune cookies)
