Batman with Steam version?

I was under the impression that Batman for 2v2 Arena Battle came with any pre-order but I don't see it on the Steam page. Does he come with the Steam version?

Looks like he's only unlocked for the CE boxed versions.

Hmm now the offical patch notes say just pre-order to get Batman... so I guess it's just a pre-order.

The GameStop pre-order page implies that the code you get for the pre-order bonus is also used to unlock Batman so I'm assuming it is the same case with Steam's pre-order bonus, Bane's Venom Injector.

Now my dilemma is whether to pre-order and get Batman or not. I was in the Beta and it was certainly a fun game but I don't really have a burning desire to play it immediately. I think its both messed on and ingenious that they chose such a popular character as the pre-order bonus, but I'd expect they would have a way of obtaining him down the road as people would probably get pissed being barred from playing as Batman forever.

I constantly had batman unlocked in the beta, even after they removed the ability for everyone to unlock him. Since I pre ordered from Steam, I expect to have him in live aswell.
