I just bought GRID to use it as a benchmarking software, even old as it is, it's a good measure of DX9 Performance on hardware, to my surprise, GRID is absolutely and totally unplayable on the new Radeon HD6870.

Even at the start screen, all I can see is garbled image all over the place, I tried changing card for a 4870 and all is working so, something in this new Radeon in DX9 messes things up big time, I know is not the new card becasue I tried it on Crysis, Metro, DiRT2, F1-2010 and it plays perfectly, Left 4 dead 2, all without graphical glitches or anything, it's just the dawm GRID!

I can't try any drivers since 10.12 is not out and I'm using 10.10e which is the only driver available, any hints?

I'm running the 10.11 drivers on my 6870 and it's running perfectly for me. Also running the 10.11 game profiles. See if those help.

I know this is a bit old, but just to clarify that 10.11 does not support the 6870. and no older drivers support it either.

The game ran fine for me with my 6870 on 10.10e and now I have 2 6870's crossfired running on 10.12 and it's running super sweet :P

In case you still haven't got it sorted try uninstalling your drivers then restarting in safe mode and running driver sweeper, then reboot back to normal mode and install the 10.12 drivers. Also try verify your game cache. (sorry for the generic answers, hopefully ya got it sorted by now anyway :P)

The 10.12 driver made my system run like utter crap, so I reverted back to the 10.10 driver and everything runs a million times better.
