Hello
I have call of juarez on my pc but there is a problem when i start the game : all the words are unreadable. What's the problem ?
Please help me !!!

Same problem here, The first time i downloaded and played the game it was fine. After i had removed it and reinstalled all the menu words are messed up are unreadable.

Where do you come from?
I use the German version and I have the same problem.
Changing to English does not help.
Restarting Steam and verifying game cache does not help either.

When I run Call of Juarez there is a problem,all the words in the menu are unreadable.I see lots of people have the same problem.

What scares me is that I found no solution online, even in the ubi forums.
If I get an answer from ubi support I´ll let you know, but I am not very confident.
I installed the demo a few month ago and had no such issues btw.

Hi,

found this in the ubisoft forum and it works 100%.

There were three other guys with very different computer systems on Steam with the same problem.

One of them figured it out!!!

It's pretty easy: all you have to do is delete the COJ:BIB folder in the Documents folder.
Then it works.
Seriously.

but it doesn't works for me.
Searched for a solution in the downloadtime and thought this could help me if I have the same trouble.
This game made me sick. Only @%"=§? in the menu. Edited the videooptions but the same problem.
Have a ATI 4870 in 1680*1050 solution.

Under this path I found 7 fonds for the game, so they are still there but not used. o.O

Do you have Windows 7? (I have vista)
Maybe there is something in a hidden folder you have to delete too?

4 GB RAM

Nothing works.

edit:

Now it works. After the second cache testing and downloading again 200MB of files and deteling the folder under documents.
But now I couldn't register to an onlineprofil. So I have to read the sticky threat too. This game is so bugged.
