ATI Rage 128 pro with 16MB SDRAM
ATI Radeon HD 2600 pro... This is actually a mobility card, so under windows it shows up as an underclocked 2600 xt mobile which is actually faster than the PRO version... So in short its a better than a PRO but not as good as an XT
(Both are unfortunately on macs...)

12-16-2010, 05:56 PM
from what i remember voodoo 3, radeon 8500, geforce 3 ti, and now 9800gt

12-16-2010, 06:03 PM
Desktop GPUs: 7300LE, 8500GT, and my current 9800GT.

Laptop GPUs: Raedon 7500 (32MB lawl), and my current on my everyday use Laptop, Mobility Raedon X300 (64MB lol).

Hopefully will be getting either a 6850 or a 6870 for Chirstmas for my Desktop. It'll be the first time that I will be going over to the ATI side rather than the Nvidia side. Not saying Nvidia is terrible, its just that ATI had offers that I couldn't ignore. Plus, I was a little bit skeptical about buying a new Nvidia card after my stock heatsink started to act up on my 9800Gt (I now have a new heatsink on it.)

Anyways, looking forward to 2011!

EDIT: Wait, two more desktop GPUS, an ATI Rage Pro (Quake III FTW), and Geforce 2 (RTCW, and Soldier of Fortune II.) Those were the days!

2x HD5870 (Sapp + PC)

As you can see, I've not always been a fanATIc, I have tried nV from time to time as and when it seemed the better buy.....although, admittedly, my preference has always been ATi.

12-17-2010, 08:20 PM
Sept 2009 - Sapphire HD 3850 256Mb
Jan 2010 - XFX Radeon HD 4670 1GB
Dec 2010 - HIS Radeon HD 6870 1GB

Large jumps gaming performance in a short time.
The first card I bought (HD 3850) was a mistake mostly. As it my first gaming rig I built. Bought it a Source (Canadian version of Cicruit stiy) store for $100 which was a rip off. The 4670 I got 4 months later for the same price on tigerdirect.
I decided to get a topend card this month and probably wn't be looking replace this card now for 2 or 3 years I guess.
