Windowed Mode

I've noticed that a lot of people are complaining that their game starts in windowed mode. Well, I have the opposite problem, where mine starts in fullscreen and I NEED it windowed to play, due to some crippling bug in my system that I will be taking care of in due time but need a workaround for now.

So, my actual question is: is there a way I can make the game startup in windowed mode? Some kind of start-up line I can edit somewhere?

You could try holding "d" on startup. Haven't tried it, found it here (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-959860.html). Is probably out-dated, but worth a shot

anyone knows how to make this game work in windowed ?
