In no means am I great Support player but I have seen a few of you who have just started not known what to do. I've mainly been playing blitz so I'll be basing it on that.

If you don't want to read all this, the Developers made this video to show of the support class that explains it better than I can write.

You can heal Turrets with your heal gun, not just people!

With your Healing Gun, you can overheal people, bots and turrets so they have 150% health.

Your shot gun (as well as every other secondary weapon) has an Alternate fire that is a grapple. This easily takes out Bouncers and Black Jacks. Don't grapple the Jackbot though, only Snipers and Assassins can do that.

Your Healing gun, (So it's actually called the Heal/Hurt gun) has a secondary fire (Hold Right Mouse) that makes a red beam and takes health from the enemy and give it to you (Use this on Bullseye, not the shot gun. You get $1 per hit not $10 for 10 damage)

You can pack up your firebase. Press Yellow Skill while standing next to it. You get some charge back by doing this so you can deploy it again faster than waiting for it to die.

Try and Hack whenever you can. Your little firebase will not shoot very much unless you hack it (Hack is shown by the little number next to the level of the turret, it disappears after a while meaning it is running out of hack).

Hack:
Hack is your blue skill (Hold L Shift next to a turret), it drastically increases the range and rate of fire of any turret the higher you upgrade your skill the more powerful it becomes and the faster it recharges.

Happy Healing guys.

Looks like a good guide, but usually in games with coop and competitive the way to play a specific character differs for each mode, so you might not want to take it for granted in crossfire.

It's not really a guide I'm just saying the things some supports don't know about their class.

And all that stuff does apply to crossfire.

The hurt/heal gun reminds me of the link gun in ut2k4.

Remember if you upgrade your hack skill you can hack enemy turrets too. This is a lot easier if you can get an assassin, gunner or tank to blind the turret first so it isn't shooting at you.

Ooooo, I didn't know that. Whats hacking an enemy turret do exactly? Disable it? Change teams? ESPLODE?

You get control of it. The enemy can then attack it or hack it back, or eventually it will just revert to their control naturally.

It can really turn the tide of battle if you pull it off though.
