How do you host?

Hi

i have tried creating games through the dedicated option but people still cannot join...i have tried non-dedicated but still no one can connect

do i have to port forward (which i dont want to do) or am i doing something wrong please help

You have to port forward, but even then it might not work. Seems to be a common issue.

Port Forwarding Info:
"Standard Steam Ports"
UDP 1200 (used for friends service)
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
TCP 27020 to 27039 inclusive

MNC Ports
7777-7778

is port forwarding or this crappy issue going to ONLY be in the BETA so when its final release...we can host dedicated servers like left 4 dead? and no port forwarding whatsoever

I got the ports properly forwarded but i'm still unconnectable. Not getting any error msgs either. Can't seem to figure out what's up

Port Forwarding is very common.

i think the U3 Engine can use UPnP, so cross your finger
