invalid key for steam?

Hey my problem is :

steam invalid my cod2 key..i have 2 cds and 2 keys..but nothing work?

You can't register retail versions of CoD2 on Steam. If you want it on steam you have to buy it that way. See here for a list of retail titles you CAN add https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-wusf-3601

All you can do is manually add CoD2 to your Games Library as a short cut. Even if you do this you'll still need the CD/DVD in the drive to play.
