Munch's Oddysee - No sound?

Okay, what's going on. I can hear sounds normally in all videos but there is no sound in the game (and menus)?

Same problem which I had when playing the original Xbox game with Xbox 360...

well of course, i just mean i thought both Oddworlds werent backwards compatable.

i didnt even install Munch's Oddysee yet so im not sure if the sound problem is consistent.

I turned to XP compatibility mode and now sounds work.

Haven't they tested the game with Windows 7?
