STS TF2 Tournament

Hi, I was thinking that would it be cool that we would try to set up a STS tournament in TF2. Each language would pick 6 members of their translation team to compete in the tournament. Im not familiar with TF2 tournament rules, but I guess someone here is? How do you like the idea?

NOTE: It would be a friendly tournament, not anything serious.

I'd rather just play with as many translators as possible together on one server. A tournament would be quite a hassle and ultimately playing as a big translators team / taking over a server would be just as much fun as a tournament, if not even more.

Also, we Germans would kick your asses anyway and I don't want to make you cry :D.

Well, I think you have not played with Turks yet.

If there aren't enough members, they can always team up with another language ;)

Or if there isn't enough people willing to play, we can always arrange a highlander match :D

The largest ethnic group of non-German origin are the Turkish.

So, uh, anyone know of a good european server host or host their own server? And yeah, I'd rather just play with us as a group on a server, not as a competitive team. How about we wait for the "promised" TF2-hat and then do this together?

I have actually thought about a group like that before, but I have never had the incentive to create one. Meh, okay, here it is:

It would be cool if we had some international meeting place for all the translators, but let's keep this group private, at least for now. Yeah, well, I don't think we'll ever find a time when everyone is available. And I'd say we play TF2, I don't want to play with untested weapon stats and stuff like that. Also, more people play non-beta TF2. But I'm open for other plans.
