What's the status on voice chat for Monday Night Combat? I can't say I've heard anybody talking, and I don't think there's an indicator for when you're talking into the mic - please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, is MNC using Unreal Engine 3's default voice chat protocol? I've only played one UE3 PC multiplayer game (Unreal Tournament 3) and that had incredibly crappy built-in voice support. Does MNC do something different?

We use steam for voice chat and it should be working fine.

You have to hit 'T' to talk though.

It should be working as I've heard voices while playing that weren't in the game (or in my head), but I don't think many people use the voice feature. There isn't any visible indicator for who is talking as far as I know. The quality wasn't bad.

I have not been able to get my mic to work in MNC. I play allot of games BBC2, TF2, L4D, L4D2, and so on. But for some reason in MNC no matter what key I try to bind or use I get nothing.

I fixed it . I had to remove the game and reload it.

im saddened by the lack of voice chat though :( No one wants to talk or play as a team it seems.

Question: Can your teammates hear you when you are dead?

Can you put in game sounds on different channels so i can actually hear people talking?

I want to use my mic. But I have no idea if it's working. Is it broadcasting when I talk? Is it broadcasting when I press the button? If it is, how would I know since no one responds?

It's push (and hold) to talk. If you do it in the lobby, you should see a little speaker icon for yourself or anyone else who is talking. We still need a better feedback mechanism in-game.
