I'm having a problem I haven't seen anyone else have as of yet, where Stranger's Wrath won't load past the 'Now Loading' screen. Its just after the Launcher. Windows flags up a 'This application has stopped working' error.

Windows 7 32BIT
4GB Ram (3GB usable, thanks to my 32BIT chipset)
Intel GMA950 with SSF Driver
Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz
Macbook 2,1 (late 2006)

Your graphics card is an integrated Intel chipset. I don't think it's powerful enough to run Stranger's Wrath. It requires an nVidia 6600 or better or ATI X1600 or better (256MB+). :(

The application is faulting on the Intel GMA driver. Check for newer ones.

Intel graphics chipsets are usually pretty terrible overall no matter how much lipstick you put on them. Always the first thing I check before I buy a laptop.

Its the latest driver, and the only one I can get Source games working properly on (my benchmark is whether I can see the 8 dots on the wall panels in Portal :P)

Portal and Soruce titles use DirectX, Stranger's Wrath and Munch's Oddysee use OpenGL.

Actually, Munch uses DirectX too, it's just Stranger that uses OpenGL.

Okay, fair enough. I'll just wait till I get my new PC after Christmas to play Stranger. I've waited since I got my 360, I can wait another month.
