After installing Spore, Spore GA, and Spore Creapy and Cute I found that the Creapy and Cute pack was not registered online at my Spore.com page. This meant that I could not download or upload any creatures using these parts.

If this is the case you can contact EA support: http://support.ea.com/chat

Tell them you need help registering Creapy and Cute. They will ask for the pack's code, which you can find in the registry:

32-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\SPORE Creepy and Cute Parts Pack

And for 64-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\SPORE Creepy and Cute Parts Pack

Look for the ProductKey REG_SZ to find the code.

I asked my support person to check if this key was linked to my EA account, which it was not. He manually registered it for me and informed me that the pack should be registered within a few hours at most.

Thank you for this post, I purchased the full Spore pack on Steam, and I was able to play Spore & use the Creepy & Cute parts in-game, but none of my creations were uploading to the online Sporepedia at Spore.com, even though in-game they showed as shared.

After much searching, I found that if somehow Creepy & Cute does not register on your EA account, you will not be able to share any creations that have Creepy & Cute parts in them. I came across your post, and after speaking with EA support, they activated Creepy & Cute on my account and now I am able to share properly online. Thanks!

Ah-ha, they fixed the problem for me aswell, Much thanks Jor. Been wondering for awhile why my creatures wouldn't show, infact I was wondering why spore kept on disconnecting my account whenever I played the game, it seems to have fixed that problem aswell.

STICKY THIS!
at least untill Steam/EA gets the product to register itself..
you will need to Contact Support using the link above.
say.. and I quote...
"Spore.com isn't showing my game as registered."

they should ask you for some info.. they take a long clickety clickety time..
they will say logout and then back in ..

--BUT --
it will actually take 5-10 minutes to show up.. so don't go saying "it ain't working it ain't working whaaa!"
WAIT the duration.. it will show up..if not.. hit em up again .. if it doesn't show up right in 30 minutes.

took ME over an hour... took Mike donwstairs about 10 minutes flat ..
poor girl was so confused and didn't know what todo.

though EA dropped the ball on this one.. they should have had their game register it's own darn delf..
AND had a way for commonfolk to go register their game manually themselves..

My experience was as follows:

- Waited 30 minutes to talk to a live chat agent
- Spent 15 minutes talking to the agent telling
me to update the product, then enter the serial code
on spore.com (for which there is no place to enter it)
- I kept insisting that I found the code in my registry
and they just needed to validate it on spore.com
- Finally Howard (my agent) told me that it was too
complex for him to handle and there was no way he could
manually register the game to me and that a senior
agent would contact me in 24-48 hrs via email
- The next day (New Years Eve) I checked my inquiry and it was
activated on my account :p

So the process probably depends on the agent you communicate
with. All in all I was satisfied with the response. So a little
patience can be an asset.

P.S. considering how often this seems to happen from
my research online. Someone should sticky this thread.

My first post on this board, just to say thanks to the OP, took about 15-20 mins in total to sort it all out, though I'm surprised they haven't done anything about patching it yet.

I had this problem. It's a real headache because there's nothing the end-user can do. I filed a support ticket, but just got the runaround. I contacted the live chat and after a short explanation I linked them to this sticky: http://forum.spore.com/jforum/posts/list/46698.page It was fixed in five minutes.
