This game seems to stutter/skip/hitch every 5-6 feet. It makes the game near unplayable. I haven't tried much, since I don't know what to try, but I can tell you that all drivers from NIC to GPU to NB are updated (don't lecture me on this, I learned 6 years ago that driver updates can make or break anything), and I'm running the latest Direct X.
Specs are as follows
AMD Phenom 2 x6 1055T (stock clocks and stock vcore)
AMD Radeon HD 5770 (catalyst 10.12, stock clocks and vcore)
2x2gb Kingston ValueRam (ddr3, stock voltage and timings, but possible culprit)
Western Digital Caviar Green (likely culprit, this pos drive couldn't spin to save its life)
