graphical error - how to fix?

i keep getting this error. and its pretty damn annoying, since it makes the game pretty much unplayable.

any way to fix this? i thought i fixed it when playing windowed, but it slowly worked its way into the game.

I'm having the same problem. I didn't play Braid for a long time, but back then (with an nVidia card) everything was fine. Now I have an ATI card. Could this be the cause? Also, the green overlay looks a bit like Super Meat Boy to me, which I played before.
