Is this game populated?

Im a returning player and I was wanting to ask if the servers are very well populated? Ill try to make it more understanding.

Is the servers populated?
What is the most level base? Is there a range of low,mid, high levels peeps? Cause I don't wanna play if im the only person below 30

They've consolidated down to just a few servers so there's a good population on each of those. They somewhat recently added a new feature that allows you to add levels to your characters so there's always players of varying levels around, though most people have one or two or ten maxed out toons.

Yeah, the population still has a few dedicated players, but nothing special.

This game's population crashed like a month after release. All it was good for was a few imbalanced ganking and spawn camping with a few friends.

I read a PC Gamer article like a year ago that convinced me to go back and I wanted to punch the writer in the face afterwords. Best game your not playing was not the way I would have described it. It sucks you in with a coherent and fully voice acted tutorial then dumps into into mediocure MMO land where you wack twenty worms on the head, only this time when you get ganked you spawn in the same spots everytime so its easier to camp you.

I started playing AoC a few days ago. Havent been playing since the beta phases and I am loving it.

The chat is active with sensible people. I have yet to see name calling and so on.

I am seeing people around the towns and so on. Generally having a fantastic time so far :)

What?? You mean I've been financing some other game and all I got in return was the service I thought I was paying for in the first place?!? I demand they reallocate my subscription money to buying paperclips and coffee cups!!!
