it was a very popular show, and lasted forever, and there was a short lived remake too

it involves ex-Navy frogman Mike Nelson, played by the all-famous Loyd Bridges, if you want more info, check wikipedia

If you want to see it, it plays every 1 AM or so after The Outer Limits and before The Patty Duke Show on THIS TV (channel number 117 in my community)

Lloyd Bridges was like Leslie Nielsen in that both actors played serious roles early in their careers, but switched to mainly comedy roles later.
