This game is chock-full of references to the film series. Some are obvious some are a little more subtle. One I liked was the Gale Zemeckis and Fine law offices! Does anyone know where the fine came from?!
Another is the recurring scene in whatever Marty eats in and seeing his relative being bullied by Tannen.
Makes you love the series all over again.
Any of them stand out to you?
edit: Posting ingame without firefoxes spell checker really does stink...
it should said references*

Tannen driving into a manure truck is a pretty obvious one.

I don't know who Fine is but, personally I chuckled when i heard the joke

The instant I saw the guy in the soup kitchen rub his neck, I KNEW he was a McFly.
I also love the few lines about Clara and the kids.
Kid Tannen should be more look like Biff Tannen! In the movies all evil Tannens were played by the same actor. That was cool.

Waking up in his room after the intro where the Delorian didn't reappear..
"Well you're safe and sound now, back in good old 1986"
lol.. I think it was the first time his mom was right about what year it was supposed to be! :)
Also, the picture of him and Doc in front of the clock tower from 1885 was nice to see. Haven't got too far yet, but I can't wait to see what eles there is to see. The game is not as good as I hoped, but better that I expected. ;)

there was a quick et refrence when marty uses the bike and the rocket you they fly over a hill before he crashes.
Tons of subtle ones that many may miss; it's odd that a game references the movie it's based on, but they did it to help ease in people to the game. The game is actually following the movies plot loosely, but with a new story. Here's the references I can remember.
When Marty knocks over Edna's newspapers she says, "you've messed up my history, do you know how long it will take to fix this?"
When Marty pulls the Delorean in front of the billboard, it covers up the picture of car, leaving the text "The Car of the Future". He also leaves the car behind the billboard, episode 2 says this was a bad idea.
The ending was a reference to the ending of BTTF 3 with the characters reversed. In BTTF 3 Doc climbs all over the train to help Marty and Clara and they use some explosive material to help. In the game Marty climbs all over the wagon to help Doc and Marty uses the rockets to help him catch up.
What the hell is that!
At the start of the game you use the amplifier to blow away Biff. At the start of the first movie Marty blows himself away with the same amplifier.
Yet again, Marty is not thinking 4th dimensionally and always gives himself just enough time to finish whatever task he needs. This actually gives the license plate of the Delorean "outtatime" a double meaning; the Delorean is a time machine and whenever it's used they are always tight on time.
I suspect that by the 3rd episode they'll stop coupling the plot so tightly to match the original movies.
I hope there's a reference to all the terrible BTTF games.

I noticed one!
Did anyone else notice that the rockets from the Rocket Drill/Rocket Bike look EXACTLY like the vents on the back of the DeLorean!?

No, he was climbing to get to the delorean, then he heard Clara and went back to help her.
In the game Marty climbs all over the wagon to help Doc and Marty uses the rockets to help him catch up.
IMO it's more like in second movie, when Marty tried to snatch Sports Almanac from young Biff's car.

Think the Fine was sort of there as a partial Stooges reference. think whenever they had a business in their shorts it was always Howard, Howard, & Fine.
