Game is addicting and fun as hell. If you're still unsure to pickup this little gem there's a demo, but at this price you'd be cheap not to buy it. Little bit of a learning curve and experienced players might obliterate you at first, but since this game's going out on sale there will be plenty of newbies around so that you won't feel overwhelmed by tougher players. Multiplayer is where it's at.

This is still one of my favourite games in my Steam collection.
I go through phases of playing it loads and not much for a while but overall it is great!

Looks fine to me considering it's after 10pm GMT on Xmas day.

Probably one of the most played Multiplayer indie games. I hope Monday Night Combat does well too.

I played it a few hours BEFORE it was on sale, and i found 3 active EU server with low ping. there were some active US servers as well.
AFTER the sale, servers was full with a lot of sale n00bs :D

But yeah, it takes some time to learn how to fly properly, but for its actual price, this game is a must-buy

I play this on Steam with an XBOX 360 USB controller.. lots of fun to sit back and level up in multi-player sessons. The menus are all navigable with the controller as well.

Thanks guys! We're proud to have maintained a healthy online population (typically 100-200 concurrent players depending on the time of day) since launch in May 2009. Critical mass is a tricky issue for indie multiplayer games -- we're very thankful to our community for helping us sustain an active multiplayer scene!

good thing about this game's MP is that you don't need 200+ people online to find a good game. Most games are fine, and there's not many trollers or super-pro's.

Active?????????????????? what do you mean by active? 50people max? seriously...

787 hours of gameplay here (at least a year) and I've NEVER had trouble finding fully servers. Anytime.

Altitude is a pre-Steam game and the players are very loyal to the game.

there's not many trollers or super-pro's.

I bought this game over the winter sale and it is a blast to play. The community is very active and I always find a game, regardless of what time it is. I would definitely recommend this game to everyone. It is easily the most fun and most re-playable indie game I own. It is now in my Favorites category on steam.
