Joystick issues

I use a Extreme 3D PRO (X3D) Logitech joystick and it seems that the game is recognizing the buttons on board but not the throttle lever nor the joystick movements. I know that the joystick isn't broken or a dud. I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions?

Wow found out the problem. Disregard. There is a controller layout option.
