Whats Point of Other Weapons?

Honestly, your going be using your Steel or Silver sword every time. I've yet to find any use for extra two weapons you get, other then bashing or slicing random peasants in middle of the night.

Anyone else explain?

Yeah I'm on chapter 3 and wondering the same thing...

I just keep the other weapons there for the badass looks. :p

Use the Aard sign to knock down foes.

Then if you have a dagger equipped, you might get a chance to see Geralt using his dagger performing throat-slitting on his knocked-down foe after he pricks his sword into the ground.

How cool is that. lol

That's the only point I could think of. :)

But he does all that with his sword

I've seen him slash their legs, then slit throat with Sword, I've seen him turn the sword around hold the blade, Bash them in the hilt/guard as they are on ground.

I've seen him leap up & over em, beheading them, I've seen the ram sword through gut/chest.

so far, I am in Chapter IV, the only use I see other weapons is decorations & randomly killing a peasant or if you get a ghoul all by itself you can attempt to Axe/Mace/Morning Star/Hammer it to death. That takes a bit
