immortal throne has everything the original has and more correct? so can I delete the original and just keep Immortal throne?

No, Immortal Throne is not a stand-alone addon. 75% of it's files comes from the original TQ folder.

why is immortal throne 4 GB's and titan quest only 2? I think Immortal throne must have a full copy of the base files...

My Immortal Throne file is only 1.4 GB's. If you are looking at the file size from the steam library the file size is not accurate.

Since Immortal Throne is an expansion of Titan Quest and is not stand alone you must have the base game installed for it to work. From the Steam store page:

Titan Quest Immortal Throne requires the Steam version of Titan Quest to play.
