Way Too Short!!!!!!

I finally purchased Watchmen The End Is Neigh 2 and beat it in exactly 44 minutes. It's way too short and too repetitive. The storyline is poor and hangs on a sexual theme to try and make it interesting to play.

It's almost as if they wanted to test out their fighting system and had no ideas on how to make a good story line and multiple chapters. 3 Total to be exact.

The enemies are all the same, the game play is all the same, and the ending is a huge let down. Aside from the interesting fighting scheme this game feels more like a demo or student created game than a professional game put out by WB.

Shortest Game I ever played!!!! I'm glade that I waited to get it for $4.99 on steam. I would have been really upset had I paid full price for this.

Actually, considering the technology used in this game, I think it was a demo and a testbed for Batman: Arkham Asylum. Playing this game, and playing that one, it feels like a very rough cut of the engine.

Of course, I could be completely wrong. I mean this IS basically Final Fight or Streets of Rage with a Watchmen theme.

Nah. Batman was in development before Watchmen, they were from totally separate publishers and developers (yes, Warner Bros was involved with both, but they only published Watchmen, whereas Batman was with Eidos, with Warner serving a sort of "producer" role), and on top of that, they're on totally different engines. Watchmen used developer Deadline's in-house engine, and Batman used Unreal Engine 3.

There's short games, that you read about in reviews, and then there is this game which is mindboggling short.

Part 1 I felt was rather short, but part 2 was even shorter and made me go "WTF?" when it ended already.

Watchmen are cool (Gotta love Rorsch, the psycho he is), and I like the voices sounding like in the movie. Fighting system is decent enough, especially once you get the hang of throwing people the way you want them. Game is way too repetive and short, though.

Only buy this one if you want some minor stuff with watchmen in it, cause that's about all you can get from it in the end. And even the stories are inconclusive, ending with open ends everywhere that don't get finished. The endings in both part 1 and 2 feel more like areas where other games would evolve the story after it just got started :-/

Well, I appreciated the OP bringing the topic up. I am not going to read through multiple reviews. Demo's do not indicated a game's depth. Game seems to be a short generic movie tie-in 'cookie cutter' reskin. Not interested.

No one even made a mention about the visuals. It was completely about how the games are way too short.
