I'm running W7 64bit + 480 GTX, the only issue I've found so far (and pretty much a game breaking one) is that character models are corrupt. Sometimes the head even appears between the character feet, sometimes theres no character model at all, sometimes theres a pile of crap on the floor floating around that supposed to be a character model.

Anyone else run across this and found a fix?

Also it seems this steam version is outdated, and there is no way to update it on the steam platform...(nothing new eh?)

Verify your cache, it sounds like something may have either been corrupted or incompletely downloaded.

Which version is it? Did you use the nwnupdater application?

I have the same issue. Windows 7 x64, i5-750, 5870. Black skin and model textures, unplayable.

Edit - Verification found nothing but a restart downloaded a 45MB patch, all good now.

Its either a corrupted files problem, so testing the integrity of the files on steam is a good idea to do and if its not that, then its the new CPU and video card.

I have the following:

Core i7 920
6GB DDR3 1600Mhz Triple Channel
Nvidia Geforce 480GTX

So, in about 4hrs, i will likely get the same issue, cause i remember getting that problem with The force Unleashed II game, but i had an ATI card at the time.

actually this is a problem with the game itself. I remember myself and others having this issue with my disc version and on the official forums it was tracked down to a issue with the game and how it uses Windows 7 Direct X versions. I think the fix involved copying an old Direct X .dll into windows system or something, but I think a google search should bring up the fix.

Its sad Obsidian still hasnt bothered to patch the .exe, as Im pretty sure thats the only way to fix it without mucking around with .dlls
