Player Co-op vs Bots!

Hey everyone, this'll only take a quick moment.

I want to know if you can do something akin to co-op vs. the bots. I know there is a single player vs. Bots option in the game, but can I add more of my friends to my game to fight alongside them like I can in Battlefield 2? (If you've played BF2 like that, you'll know exactly what it is that I want.)

Rundown, this is what I want:

Suppose, 32 player game.

16 v. 16.

On team 1, 13 bots and 3 humans. Team 2, 16 bots.

That possible?

It appears so. Many bots options. I just installed it.

It has balanced and unbalanced modes for bots. So yes it does look like you can do what you want with two teams.

You can set it to coop balanced and unbalanced. It has players plus bots versus bots option. Also looks like it has a horde type of mode.

You can set the AI for the bots too. Offensive, defensive or normal.

It reminds me alot of BF2. Which I still play.

Can some one back me up on this? I'm very sure it does what you want though.

Ah! That's absolutely fantastic and exactly the kind of response I was looking for! And in precisely the right time frame. Wanted to know before the steam sale ran out, you understand.

I rechecked the game again. The players plus bots vs bots is when you are out numbered.

But there is an option to fill to capacity with bots if you have slots open and it appeared that both teams were even from what I could tell.

Yeah "balanced" is a fill to capacity option gives even teams because it just fills the player slots with bots. I played 1 human player with 8 max players. It was me and 3 bots vs. four bots.

If you don't mind, one more question:

How many players may play in this mode? Only four for each side?

Balanced I tried with 16. So 16 on listen server. For 32 it looks like you need a dedicated server. That's what it told me but it's built in. So I assume full.

It was me plus 7 bots versus 8 bots. I assume this would work with two players but my buddy didn't have his game downloaded last night.

When you seletc balanced which fills the bots...it does let you set unbalanced which I assume is for the human player side. So it appears you can be on the same side.

Early this morning we are giving it a try then I can give you a definite answer. I should be able to post before the deadline. I'm waiting for him right now.

Any one can chime in here too!

You can do coop but it made the sides exactly even or uneven. Just me and one other bot.

It has:
Balanced: Fills in bots to capacity
Balanced 25 percent: Fills with bots to capacity if under 25 percent
Swarm: Humans plus bots versus Bots uneven
Super Swarm: Humans plus bots versus Bots very uneven
COOP: Humans versus Bots even
Extreme COOP: Humans verus Bots uneven
No Bots


EDIT: Playing with a Friend. Yes the sides are even and we are on the same side. 16 bots right now. Even as far as we can tell.
