having to constantly look at the map while in high speed, its freaking annoying. not only do you have to look at the map, to make sure you take the right turn. you also have to watch out for cars in the process.

the experience i had with other burnout games is just get to point A to point 5 with out crashing too much and being outraced. this game is annoying the crap out of me.

It did for me too, but only when I tried to binge off it and beat it as quickly as possible. I originally finished the game 100% on Xbox and bought it on Steam a while later during a sale, and I still remembered the road layouts like it was second nature, and now I only open the map to find an unfinished event.

Just keep racing and eventually you'll just get a feel for routes.

^This. After a while you'll be driving into oncoming traffic with the boost kicked in all the time. Use aggression cars/trucks/vans for practice as they can take a real beating and don't get knocked around as much.

The only annoyance with this game is having to listen to Guns N' Roses every time the it starts. With such a large soundtrack they should have shuffled it but... whatever.

You can also check the roadsigns that show at the top of the screen - the one you should take blinks, as does the indicator on your car.

Heh. Glancing at that minimap every 2 seconds can be crazy :D I do it all the time. But I just recently got 101% complete! :D
