Instead of hearing music i only hear a short loud sound that repeats itself multiple times per second, which is very annoying.
Sound effects and the game itself run fine.

So i have to register in a forum for one single post? Why can't i get support here? It's the forum section for Flight Control HD after all.

Hi Nekomancer,
Having all support issues reported at our support site often helps other players if they come across the same issue. It's also much easier for our dev team to track issues at the one site, rather than trying to link up seemingly random posts across different forums. As mentioned in the sticky'd support thread (here (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1596305)), the quickest way to get help is through our support site. While I do try to monitor many forums (such as this Steam forum) as often as possible, my first and foremost duty is to look after our players on our support site.
Regarding your particular sound issue - I'm very sorry that this is occurring. Have you made sure your audio (or even graphic) card drivers are up to date? Have you verified the integrity of the game cache, or deleted the game and redownloaded/reinstalled?
Any extra information could help. We may require copies of your dxdiag and game output, if you'd be willing to send them to us the address is help@firemint.com.
Thanks.

Hey, I am experiencing the very same problem. My system:
Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
Intel Core2Quad Q6600
3 GB of DDR2 RAM / 800 MHz
abit IP35-Pro Motherboard
GeForce GTX 460 1024 MB
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer / 64 MB (sound card)
It might be a problem with our Creative sound cards. All of my drivers are up-to-date.
And I don't know if it's related, but Nekomancer and I are both German and I guess that we both use a German copy of Windows. But like I said, I don't know if that is related to this issue.
Would you like me to send my dxdiag to you guys as well? If so, what do you mean by "game output"?
Regards
Edit: I just noticed that the last post is fairly old. Are there any news on this problem that I could have missed?
